26 Gouda NL

This was a VERY popular spot.
The road works around the entrance mmade it difficult to find unless you'd been before. There were no motorhome signs but the car park name was well signed. There were more delagates here than at a meeting of the Euro Parliament. It was great although i think the maximum 4 spaces was well exceeded. Not sure i would want to take on board freash waterhere as the tap was over the open elsan hole.

25 Salzkotten

There are 2 SP's in this town; one near the open air swimming pool.
 The other near the Schutzenhalle.
Could not see that there were charges for either  SP but also no facilities. The signs were a bit small and you had to be quick to spot them.

24 Bad Wuenneberg

Again just for the cost of the 'Kurtax'. Right next to stream and at end of main shopping street.

23 Bad Lippsprenge

This was an excellent SP. Well signposted and right next to park and near centre of town. Cost was £.25 Euro's each Kurtax. Bins emptied regularly. Could wish for more.

20 Mablethorpe

Wild camping spot, north of town.
Then of course there's the local MCC CL, nice facilities, but these were closed for winter. Fishing looked excellent.

Two nice 'days only' CP's available, well photo'd; there were many more.
Seal Rescue CP

and in the dunes

On the whole, not unfriendly for motorhomers. Certainly 10 times better than the Yorks coast!

21 Scunthorpe + Brigg

Wonderfull panorama of the Tata steel works.
Would stay in the hope that the only other overnighters will be fishermen, rather than fishers for men!

Well off the beaten track near Brigg, a VERY basic CL but affordable! Would use again as a stopover.

22 Whitby

Heavy snow. Will post picture later. Only the small CL open this trip. We have been before. Facilities basic, water (for pot wash) cold to freezing. The view was good, when the mist lifted, which wasnt much!
