Twin towns, Brissac has the magnificent chateau which is being converted into apartments. Quince is the other half. The Aire has a unique service area, water, toilets, elsan. Slightly sloping bays and costs $4 per night. (not collected on 11/11). Over the stream and up the hill is the town’s sports complex with swimming pool.
Montreuil-Bellay (next planned stop) Really attractive looking village. No place to park near the chateau entrance, which was closed for the season anyway. We lost the signs for the CC Aire and moved on to next stop. Should return here and spend a night.
The SP is a unique construction and foc. There is also a WC. Brissac centre with shops and bars just a short walk.
