The car park next to Pleasureland now offers overnites at just £7 pupn. It is very well located to visit all parts of Southport. Water is available and there is an interesting feature for Elsan disposal. TV and mobile internet receptions both good. We will certainly go again.

153 Stubb Place

A beach side, road side parking, used i am certain but beach casters and overnight too i am sure; perhaps they are issued with exemptions. The mobile internet signal is poor, otherwise the beach and views are great. A good days pic nick spot

152 Muncaster Mill, Station CP

Sorry this pic has come out facing wrong way. The Muncaster Mill is now a private residence but the narrow guage railway car park is still available. Mobile internet reception is good and it is foc. I imagine days would be no problem but overnites would be.

151 Drigg Coastal

This Coast side Car Park has no restrictions signposted. The only way to reach it is through a manned railway crossing and the spot is a clear favourate for dog walkers. We saw a police patrol check out the spot mid afternoon and then drive away

150 Seascale

A sea front car park with no restrictions or charges seems too good to be true. Although i am sure there is a by law which prohibits over nite parking, we are told many M/Hs park here and there are no problems. It is a small but interesting place next door to Sellafield Power Station. We enjoyed it here.

149 Waberthwaite CL

On the other side of the estuary from Ravenglass, this farm CL has nice views, few facilities and poor mobile phone reception. Having said that it is peaceful, the owners are friendly & helpful and we would go again.

 It is not a good road to cycle from here to Ravenglass but there are some other nice routes to cycle.

148 Witherslack

A quiet off road lay by, behind the Derby Arms seems a very nice spot for a day time stop-over. Not sure an overnight would go un noticed, but you never know!
