207 Shakerly Mere, Cheshire

Off the motorway and around the houses is this fisherman's and walkers paradise. It has toilets but perhaps the rangers close the gates at dusk. Think we would risk it another time but this time were more concerned about the noise for the MWay and the midges!

206 Antrobus Arms, Cheshire

Very nice pub and very popular too. Mostly diners rather than locals.

205 Tewksbury

Behind the Abbey, opposite the CC site, which was full, and next to park and bowling club is a CP which, whilst still PAYG has longer bays and no height restrictions. The kids in the park were a bit noisy in the night, but otherwise was ideally situated.

204 Tewksbury Lower Lode

A fair way out of Tewksbury but a wonderfull riverside location with all facilities and the possibility of the short ferry ride to the other bank which is much nearer to the town centre. Lower Lode is highly recommended. Even has fishing too.

203 Winchcombe GWR

THE GWR picnic area was ideal for a daytime stop, maybe even overnite too. It is a fair stretch from the town but the town's coach park, which had no restrictions, all had very small bays. Too small for us even.

202 Priory

Well off the beaten track, near a farm shop and camp site is this small dog walkers CP next to the old Saxon Priory Church.

201 Broadway

£4 for 10 hours and very handy for the town and shops! Toilets open 8am-6pm

Just a little way out of town is this small CP for the birdwatchers in the Nature Reserve. We used it for breakfast but feel it would not be appropriate for an onite

200 Stow on the wold

No restrictions other than max 3 days stays. Also foc and, as you can see handy for provisions. We used thes/m toilets but not for MTing the cassette

199 Bourton on the water

On the outskirts of the village is this off road 'farmers gateway'. It looked OK but we decided to use the much closer to the town Coach CP, which was very good but cost £10.

The TV reception was iffy, but the toilets stayed open all night.

198 Windmill Picnic area

Just off the main road, tucked behind the roundabout, this little CP looked like it was infront of the carvery CP. Certainly good for days, maybe not so good for nites?

197 Burford

The Riverside CP had no restrictions, nice toilets and was flat and well lit. We overnited and were joined by others. Great place to visit too

196 Oxford P+R

There is a dedicated MH area, without height restriction to the edge of the Redbridge P+R as pictured here. The buses were expensive abd a poor service. Some didnt turn up. Also there is a charge for the CP. Overnights not allowed and there is continuous CCTV

195 Oxford (Outskirts) Wolvercoat

WE stopped here for breakfast just on the outskirts of Oxford, near canal  and next to the park and village pub at Wolvercoat. Not an overnighter but great for a break.

194 Gt Tew

This is a very nice and quite exclusive village. Well worth a visit. The local pub has great charactor but isn't for the tight fisted

193 Chipping Norton

This was not an ideal CP to stay, couldnt find any bays which were really very level. There were toliets close by, recycle area and bins.

192 Hereford (Rowing Club)

The Rowing Club site has adequate facilities, showers of course and an excellent location next to river and easy walk to town centre.

191 Queenswood Park near Leomonster

Queenswood Park is an Arbouratum just outside Leominster, We used it for breakfast stop and there were signs forbidding overnites which i guess would be enforced by the resident rangers

190 Leominster

The Abbey especially was interesting and dramatic. There were a number of other M/Hs overnighting with us and WCs close by with adequate bins.

189 Ludlow

The Park and Ride was easy to find, easy to use and quite inexpensive. Would certainly use again and perhaps even for an overnight stay.

188 Much Wenlock

We used the PAD to MT our bins and use the WC (20p). Right and Below, overnighted at the Priory CP which looks like it could be part of English Heritage. Much Wenlock is a very interesting small town and well worth another visit.

187 Lichfield Julianne's

It'll be much better after levelling groundworks!
