235 Paull

A few websites have Barrack Rd in Paull as a good wildo. We found it a bit too close to peoples gardens and down a road which was marked clearly as a private drive. The road side parking in front of the village hall and along from the pub looked good for day ony strolls etc. We found the Holme Strays nature reserve CP, just on the outskirts of the village as a much more suitable wildo. Bit unlevel, bins and next to a gas pumping station.

234 Patrington

This East Riding village is the home of a wonderful example of English Church arhitecture, Started in 1301 and finished 100 years later in 1401. The slight delay due to the Black Death.
The car park allows 4 hours to visit the church and the few shops just down the road from it.Well worth it! The tap in the graveyard might also help fill afew watering cans on drinking water.
The recent earthquake caused some serious damage to the spire so, any donations more than gratefully received

233 Withernsea

This large car park, foc, is signed 'Leisure Centre' and used by coaches and HGVs. No restrictions and no facilities, not even a bin. Next to Police Station and you can see Aldi in the distance. The town centre and the Leisure Centre are close walks, as is the beach- what's left of it.

232 Withernsea Park Resorts

Got to be the cheapest place going, off season £3.50 pn incl EHU and use of the swimming pool etc. A reasonable bike ride along the esplanade into town. The pool isn't big but it is really a good spot for a few days R&R.

231 Mappleton Cliffs

Only days (no overnight parking) for cars and LGVs (which our M-home is, according to the logbook). WCs, bins and slope down to the beach. Obviously well used by dog walkers. The CP is foc.

230 Sewerby Ship Inn PH

Cliff top, superb views, great walks and steps down to the beach. Although it costs £15 (£5 refundable against purchases in pub) it is well worth the price for the location. There are bins but nowt else.

229 Scarborough Mere

Near Oliver's Mount race track. There are 2 places to park, one well secluded to the south side and the second, north side at the cafe.

We had stayed at the cafe CP before but there is now a new owner and they are certainly NOT motorhome friendly.

228 Scarborough Coach Park

In a number of websites, this CP is nice and level, has bins and cctv but that's all. Costs £6.50 for 24hrs and couldnt find any other restrictions.

227 Robin Hoods Bay

This CP, also for coaches costs £5.50 for 24hrs and is patrolled. It is on a number of websites as a MH Overniter. However there is a sign at the top of the overflow CP, pictured below  sideways on, restricting sleeping from 11pm until 6am.
We guessed we would be OK and didnt have any problems. The CP is well lit, has WC and bins.

226 Fylinghead Moor Lay By

On the way to Whitby from Scarborough, this long lay by has great views but not very level. Often there is a burger van here too.

225 Fraisthorpe (N) Lay By

Well used by M'homers. Usually a burger bar with nice people and good bacon sandwiches is also on site. The road traffic is fast and can be noisy but it's not far from Brid.

224 Scarborough Sea Life

Sea Life
It costs £6 for 24 hours and there are no restriction signs. The view is great, the Scalby Mill cafe/bar looks great and there is a nice esplanade to North Shore

Scalby Mills Lane

Scarborough Castle in the distance. As you can imagine a favourite for dog owners.

223 Flamborough Head, North Landing

The North Landing CP has a 'No Overnight' sign but does not restrict days. Infact this year the machines don't work so it's all free. The cafe told us that Police enforce the no overnights rule but i dont see how they can since the car park is run by the Council it is a decriminalised parking area. The toilets and cafe were open in October and, not wishing to run the gauntlet with any authorities, we didnt stay long.

222 Flamborough Head (Lighthouse)

Although we found a website which indicated that both here at the Lighthouse and at the South Landing overnites would be possible, we found that on the contrary motorhome parking is not permitted at all, not even for a minuite. Cars only. At the lighthouse CP there are bins and WC should either be urgently required. Also a nice looking cafe.

221 Penmon Point (Angelsey)

This lay by is small but adequate for a day relaxing and watching the bay go by. We were unable to find the Penmon Light House which is supposed to have a Nitestop possibility. It is perhaps on the toll road which we decided not to go down this time. (£3)

220 Red Wharf Bay (Angelsey)

A very picturesque bay with a number of interesting pubs, cafes etc. A days only CP once again and at the bottom of quite a steep lane.

219 Lligwy Bay

A privately run CP which does allow onites for a charge of £10. In season there are toilets and a cafe. The beach and bay are wonderful, highky recommended.

n53 21 41.0 W4 16 0.2

Stayed again in June 2015. Toilets were not in very good shape and had signs, no chemical toilets.

218 Cemlyn Bay

Unfortunately a Dim Parcio here warning Motorhomers about the illegality of overniting. However, a wonderful spot to spend the day, albeit down a long and narrow road. Watch out for the soft pebble surface of the CP. It would be easy for a heavy fwd M/H to get stuck!
n53 24 31.0 w4 30 17.9

217 Near Cemlyn Bay

One of the very, very few places without the usual blue sign Dim Parcio Dros Nos. This lay by in sight of the Power Station and an ancient statnding stone. Ironically both symbols of power but from quite different times. We would feel comforable oniting here.

216 Holyhead Yacht Club (Angelsey)

Another days only spot, handy for harbour views and short walk into town centre.

215 Cable Bay (Angelsey)

Definately no onite here but a great place for daylight parking, right on the edge of the sandy and sheltered bay.

n53 12 28.9 w4 29 47.7

214 Abberffraw (Angelsey)

This was a great place to spend the night. One of the very, very few SPs we found on Angelsey with no Dim Parcio signs.

213 Kinmel Dunes

This 2 bay spot has no restriction signage and is just before the height restricted car park. Also just past entrance to Asda. It is a great place to park up for the day and stroll along the dunes.

212 Ty Mawr

A new way to enjoy the autumn. Park resorts off peak, add MCC discount and you get an incredibly good deal, inclus EHU and use of swimming pool etc.

We intend to do some more of this Spa resorting

211 Bailden Moor

Bailden Moor, the larger of 3 CPs. Obviously well used by dog walkers and courting couples. Great views and i don't feel there would be a problem to onyes here?

210 N Halifax

Windmill Court on Keighly Rd. Perhaps not everyone could onite here, you'd have to ask. The restaurant is good and the service friendly.

209 Doncaster (Races)

A day at the races or a weekend at the UKIP Party Confernce. Kindly allowed us to onite foc. Thanks Guys!

208 Harrogate

A well run Site part of the Yorkshire Show Ground. Handy for Harrogate by either bus or cycle. Bang next to Sainsbury SS and The Fodder, a massive farm produce shop.Revisited 2015 and cost is £17 includes WiFi (caravanpark, harrogate) and EHU. Toilets and showers are very clean and whole site well kept.
