296 Fleetwood

At the Ferry Wharf, end of the tram line there are loads of places to park up for the day (and night, as there are no restrictions). An excellent spot for taking the tram down into Blackpool or to have a look around Fleetwood itself. Saw a number of M/Hs parked up, one in front of the Euston North Hotel!

277b Lytham St Annes

From the end of the pier you can just make out the Vivo parked behind the Toby Restaurant

295 Rufford Wharf

Just down the road from Croston on A581 the road crosses the canal and the moorings or wharf are easily visible. There are a couple of permanent boats tied up but the wharf is designed for boating travellers. All facilities including shower, WC and elsan accessed with BWB key.

294 Croston

A nice, small village in Lancs. Twinned with Azey le Rideaux but missing a château of equal interest. The village does sport 4 very nice looking pubs and a tea rooms. There is a CP run by the Parish Council next to the doctors surgery where we parked up. There were no restrictions signed about overnighting but on this occasion we didn't.

243b Southport Pleasureland

Following on from previous postings at 243 and 154, this site is still here and ever more popular. All same comments still apply but price has now risen to £10 pupn. The elsan hatch is slightly improved but still gets blocked up regularly. There are also now containers for rubbish.

293 Doncaster Aero Museum

We attended a MCC Rally and was surprised how much there is to see at this small museum.
It is in the lakeside Area, a new development with, a like (surprise, surprise) and other park attractions and fast food restaurants. Behind the Frankie & Benny on the service road before the police compound and entrance to Aero Adventure there is plenty of flat space to overnight and no signs and no restrictions.
