Sao Bras (PT) 742
New private camperstop. $7 pn plus EHU
Brand new and the latest service facilities. Forgot to ask if just discharge is possible.
English spoken and nice people.
Casto Verde (PT) 741
At the south end of town is a large Intermarche which allows overnights and has full service facilities.
Nice to get a morning cuppa and sandwich. CV is on a hill.
Sao Domingo Minas (PT) 740
A once thiving mining community. The first place in Portugal to have street lights.
Further up the main street and opposite the church is a WC and showers block, apparently used by villagers who did not have home facilities.
Now closed due to covid but perhaps they will re-open.
Sao Domingo Minas N265 (PT) 739
A mining village. Very interesting place, narrow streets.
At the entrance to the village is a service bourne at the football club near the cafe.
Mertola IC27 (PT) 738
A walled town and impressive castle. Steep narrow road down to the river where here is permitted parking for MoHo. Tap and bin only. No other facilities.
Very picturesque under the castle walls.

Alcoutim B IC27 (PT) 737
A service bourne just north of the town, located at a crossroads and behind a small hotel. Maybe they allow parking but didnt ask.

A newly opened Camperstop, well nearly opened in September 2021. The service post was not finished and the EHUs not set up. Looks like it will be popular. Cost unknown. Office built but not open.
Laranjarias, Site of Roman Ruins. 735
Overlooking the river and said to be a trading post between north Africa and the local hill produce.
Evidence also of Visigoth warehousing.
Just parking and bins, no services and proberbly no overnights permitted.

Privately run Camperstop east of Odeleite on M1063. Slope up from main road.
Pitches well spaced and level. Fantastic views. K7 MT, EHU. Price was $7 plus EHU.
